Dogs

I just learned that Sydney's ancestors were bred to be bird dogs and also to hunt rats, requiring higher energy levels. However, shih-tzu's were bred to be lap dogs, so they were only intended to be small and look cute. That explains so much. I'm thinking about signing them up for dog training class at Petco. I hope that being an involved and loving dog-mom will equate to being a good mother to my actual children. What if they're not as cute?
