Sick Dogs

Isabelle is sick again. We had to take her to the vet Saturday. Nick makes fun of me for taking our dogs to the doctor when they're sick, but the vet said he didn't like that it had gone for as long as it did (a week). So I think Nick felt guilty after that. She has bronchitis (did you know dogs could get that?) and a GI infection, which is caused by some kind of parasite. The poor thing is on 2 antibiotics, something to help calm her stomach and a special diet. And then we got home from church yesterday to discover that Sydney is also sick (don't ask about that). But today they're back to their regular food, so we'll see how it goes. We're going to Nashville this weekend, and my parents are watching them, so hopefully they will be better by then. I can't see my mother fixing chicken and rice for dogs.

I ordered my camera from HH Gregg Friday, and Nick picked it up today. I can't wait to play around with it later. I'm going to try to save money by taking our own family pictures, because they're really expensive. I'm surprised that I found the lowest price at HH Gregg, but I'm glad I didn't have to order it online and have it shipped to the house. Also, free shipping.

I love Amazon. I have occasionally bought things from them, but with all the baby stuff we've been looking at, I have been using Amazon a lot. And it's almost always cheaper and has free shipping, so it's awesome. I found Egyptian cotton high thread count sheets for much cheaper than I could buy them anywhere else. Probably not something we're going to buy right now, but we need new ones. Ours are white, and while I love them, they get dirty easily. I also found an awesome baby sling that was cheaper than anything I could find anywhere else and had better reviews. And my Baby Bjorn was cheaper too. So yeah, I love Amazon.

Dogs

The dogs like our furniture and toys for the baby. I'm sure we probably shouldn't let them on everything, but I don't want them to be afraid of the baby. We picked up our chair this weekend, so that's the last furniture item for the nursery. The room is already too full with the toys in it. I'm loving the warm weather, even if it is raining today. We've been able to take the dogs for walks around the neighborhood, which is also good for me. I need to start exercising more, because even just walking makes me tired. I think it's supposed to get cold or at least cooler again this weekend though.

Good Weekend

This weekend was pretty awesome. Friday night I took him to Pizza Hut and Dairy Queen, places he likes but never gets to go (not my favorites). Saturday we planned to eat at Montana Grille for lunch, but apparently they're not open for lunch. So we went to see Friday the 13th first (Nick hated it, and I was not impressed), and then went to eat. It was packed, and we waited for 2 hours just to sit down. But we did get to do some shopping earlier that day. I bought the cutest dress for the baby to wear to church. We had a coupon for Kohl's, so Nick got a shirt for $2. And we got some stuff at Hobby Lobby to make a wreath and change out our flowers on the front porch. I have always just bought wreaths, never made one myself, so that was interesting. But I think it turned out really well. It's very spring-y. Sunday was very relaxing; I took a nap and Nick cleaned the bathrooms. Nick was off work today, so I took off also. It was nice outside, so we took the dogs to the dog park and to Petco. We made our wreath, ate some Zaxby's, and went to the mall. All in all, it was a very relaxing weekend. I love the warm weather, but it's supposed to get cold again later this week.
